MET's Canadian Payroll Tax Library (CPTL) is subjected to a comprehensive test program to ensure that it correctly calculates all payroll tax deductions. One of the tests CPTL must pass is to correctly calculate payroll tax deductions for each of the test case examples documented by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) in their publication "Payroll Deductions Formulas for Computer Programs".

To demonstrate the accuracy of CPTL and some of the testing procedures that we put the CPTL programs through, we have included a PHP script here which will detail the results of several Option 1 CRA test case calculation performed by CPTL.
